2. Reading of Minutes of April 25, 2023 meeting

3. Report of Chairman-

Yolanda Cooley from DEEP reported that corrections must be made on our

survey e.g. name of body of water, names of adjoining neighbors, renaming of

survey. She now wants us to redo our application even though it was accepted

in the fall. Our Attorney George Martelon will file a new application.

We need to purchase 3 new buoys that meet DEEP guidelines but Yolanda

will not allow the buoys to be ordered until we have a permit.

We are looking to hire additional lifeguards for the summer.

6. Old Business – Paul Hilario of 47 Oakland Ave. returned all our lifeguard

equipment to the beach last Saturday.

7. New Business- The lifeguard stands need to be painted. The benches also

need to be stained.

Lifeguard application – Matthew Harder 27 Warren St.

Since Mary O’Connor passed away suddenly in the fall, we were left without a

chair of the Charter /Bylaw committee. Attorney Martelon is willing to act as

Quasi chair of the committee if the Board votes this.
